The staff WERE friendly enough.
The room I got, a Double Room, had issues. The television was ancient and tiny. The refrigerator also failed to keep anything cold, just a dim light shined. Plus, getting the main light fixed became an ordeal and they offered free breakfast only on departure. It was hardly a solution.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was very convenient near the train station, which simplified my travel logistics. I appreciated the mini refrigerator in the room. It kept my travel snacks and drinks nicely chilled.
The neighborhood around the hotel made me uneasy. I found too many unsavory characters loitering nearby, and this concerned me during evening walks.

The staff was helpful and responsive. They addressed my inquiries quickly and effectively. They were particularly helpful with directions. This made navigating the area easier. I was able to leave my luggage after checkout AT no cost.
